Materials to help with publicity for your event

Here are some image files and other material that you may find useful when creating your own publicity such as flyers, web pages or social media posts.

Parkinson’s Create - a great resource

Parkinson’s UK offers Parkinson’s Create (opens in new window), an easy-to-use tool for designing flyers, leaflets and other material using the charity’s “brand image”. If you tried to use it a few years ago and didn’t like it, please try again! Recently it has been greatly improved, with a much wider range of templates and greater flexibility. When your design is complete you can download it in a form suitable for printing or for online use (emails, social media, etc).

To get you started, we have a simple guide showing how to use Parkinson’s Create to design a flyer, like the one shown here, for your Big Cream Tea event.

The delightful caricature has been generously created for us by illustrator Korky Paul, of Winnie the Witch fame. He has kindly agreed that we can use it in any publicity for the event, provided we attribute it to him. Please make sure that the copyright message appears whenever you use it.
