Join us to hear from Bas Bloem and Ray Dorsey

Event programme

The event will use Zoom videoconferencing.

After a brief welcome from Oxford Branch, the main part of the event will be a presentation by leading Parkinson’s researchers and clinicians Bas Bloem and Ray Dorsey.

They will

They will also encourage us to add our voices to worldwide Parkinson’s activism by joining PD Avengers, a community inspired by their book Ending Parkinson’s Disease.

How to secure your place

Time and date

The event will last around an hour and takes place on Wednesday 3rd February 2021. We welcome international participants and the timings are as follows:

Putting your questions to the presenters

We welcome your questions for the presenters, who will try to answer as many as they can during the session. However, we expect a large audience and unfortunately it won’t be possible to ask your question in person. Please use one of the following methods to ask your questions.

Submit a question in advance

Send your question by email to our event organisers:
epdqa@oxfordparkinsons.org.uk
Please write Question for Feb.3 event in your email’s subject line.

Ask a question during the session

During the presentation you will be able to submit questions for the presenters using Zoom’s text chat system. Our moderator will gather the questions and put them to the presenters on your behalf.

Recording

We plan to record the presentations and Q&A session so that we can make it available later as a video. If you do not wish to be visible on the recording, please feel free to switch off your camera within the Zoom app (look for the Stop Video button).

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
