Oxford Branch
You can download our welcome leaflet here.
Our aims
No one should face Parkinson’s alone. We aim:
- To help and support people with Parkinson’s, their carers, and families in the Oxford area with problems arising from Parkinson’s.
- To provide information and advice on Parkinson’s.
- To help raise funds for research and local branch activities.
Branch structure
The Branch has over 250 members and friends and is led by a committee of volunteers elected at the AGM in March each year.
Its activities are funded by members' subscriptions, participation in sponsored challenges by members and friends, money-raising activities within the Branch, and by legacies and donations from local people and organisations.
Branch activities
As well as our regular monthly meetings, we organise numerous social events and activities of value to PwP. Many of these activities are subsidised from Branch funds. You can find more about our events by browsing the site menus.
Becoming a member
We are a welcoming group of positive people who like to chat and smile. New people are always welcome to attend meetings and to join our membership of over 250 people with Parkinson’s (PwP) and their caregivers.
